IPL 2023 Points Table: Rajasthan Royals have dethroned Chennai Super Kings for the top spot in the Indian Premier League on April 27. Sanju Samson-led RR defeated MS Dhoni’s CSK by 32 runs to regain the top spot in IPL 2023. Gujarat Titans (GT) and Lucknmkow Super Giants (LSG) complete the top four in the points table. IPL 2023 Points Table: How do the teams fare?

  1. Rajasthan Royals: They are the current leaders after they did double over CSK.
  2. Lucknow Super Giants: Lucknow have bottled the chance to take the top spot after suffering a defeat in the game against Gujarat Giants.
  3. Chennai Super Kings: MS Dhoni & Co beat KKR by 49 runs and have taken the top spot of the IPL Points Table. With 5 wins from 7 games, CSK now have 10 points under their belt.
  4. Gujarat Titans: The defending champions registered a big win of 55 runs over Mumbai Indians. As a result, GT have gone on to the second position of the points table.
  5. Punjab Kings: In a topsy-turvy season, Punjab Kings have returned to winning ways with a 13-run win over Mumbai Indians. Sam Curran and Arshdeep Singh delivered with the bat and the ball to defend 214-run total. With the win, PBKS have climbed to 5th spot with 8 points from as 7 games.
  6. Royal Challengers Bangalore: RCB have climbed back to 5th place after their 7-run win over RR. With 8 points from 7 games, RCB are making a move towards top four.
  7. Mumbai Indians: After a hat-trick of wins, Rohit Sharma & Co have suffered a 13-run loss to Punjab Kings. It was Arjun Tendulkar’s 31-run over that made the difference as Tim David, Cameron Green and Suryakumar Yadav’s knocks went in vain. With 6 points from as many games, MI slipped to 7th.
  8. Kolkata Knight Riders: With for back to back losses, KKR have slipped to 8th spot. Set to chase 236 by CSK at their home, the Kolkata Knight Riders faltered in their run chase and were ultimately handed a 49-run loss by MS Dhoni and Co.
  9. Sunrisers Hyderabad: Sunrisers Hyderabad suffered 2 losses on the trot once again. On Friday, they suffered a 7-wicket loss to CSK. But it did not change their position. With just 4 points, they remain 8th on the Points Table after 6 games.
  10. Delhi Capitals: After a five-match losing streak, Delhi Capitals have arrested their slide with a 4-wicket win over Kolkata Knight Riders on Thursday. With 2 points, they remain 10th but more importantly, they keep their playoff hopes alive.
