Virat Kohli posted a picture of Gill’s signature ‘bow down’ celebration with a star emoji on his Instagram story. Notably, Gill also scored a century against Virat Kohli’s Royal Challengers Bangalore which led to his team’s elimination from the tournament.
Gill’s masterclass innings helped Gujarat Titans post a mammoth total of 233 in 20 overs. Gill and Sudharsan stitched 138 runs partnership for the second wicket, while Hardik Pandya and Rashid Khan ended the final two overs with fireworks. Earlier, MI skipper Rohit Sharma won the toss and opted to bowl first after rain delay in Ahmedabad.
