The dynamic and destructive middle-order batter who took the IPL 2023 by storm by hitting 5 sixes in a row was Snubbed from the Indian squad. Hardik Pandya will lead the side in the shortest format of the game against West Indies in a 5-match tournament.

Netizens vented out their frustration on social media upon seeing that Rinku Singh didn’t get his maiden call-up against West Indies in the T20 series. Apart from him, Ruturaj Gaikwad and Jitesh Sharma too didn’t have the opportunity in the squad.
Questions were raised after Kolkata Knight Rider’s standout performer was not present in the squad. Now the question is what could be the reason? Rinku Singh is currently at the NCA where he is improving his fitness. There can be a possibility that Rinku has injured himself and therefore doesn’t have 100% fitness.
Rinku Singh amassed 474 runs for KKR in IPL 2023 in 14 games and was arguably one of the best players of the team for the Kolkata-based outfits. He scored an almost impossible run chase against Gujarat Titans when he hit Yash Dayal for 5 consecutive sixes in the last over of the game to register a thrilling run chase.
