India vs Pakistan Head-to-Head Record: India vs Pakistan is a match that fans have been desperately waiting for ever since the schedule for the ODI Asia Cup 2023 was announced. The two Asian giants are set to meet on September 2. It will be India’s opening clash of the 14th edition of the tournament. And as usual, IND vs PAK in Kandy will be a grudge match with India leading 7-5 on aggregate in ODI Asia Cup.
The arch-rivals will be meeting each other after four long years in the 50-over format. The teams last faced each other in June 2019, in a match that India won comfortably by 89 runs.

The two arch-rivals have faced each other 13 times in ODI Asia Cup history. As is the case in big tournaments, India leads the head-to-head 7-5, with one game being washed out.
In their last edition of the tournament (2018), India emerged victorious over the Men in Green both in the Group Stage and the Super Four.

Both teams have played 12 editions of the event. India once again leads Pakistan, winning 6 titles as compared to their 2.
India won the inaugural edition of the event in 1984 and emerged as the winner in the last edition (2018) as well. On the other hand, Pakistan won their first title in 2000 and had to wait another 12 years to win their second title in 2012.

India leads the win and loss head-to-head in both their matches against each other and overall in the tournament.
The Men in Blue have won 53.85% of their matches against Pakistan and have a 65.62 overall record in the ODI Asia Cup, winning 31 out of their 49 encounters.
Meanwhile, Pakistan has won 35.71% of their matches against India and has a win percentage of 59.09, winning 26 out of their 49 matches.
