With Asia Cup 2023 less than 10 days away, Pakistan and Afghanistan will face off for a 3-match ODI series in Sri Lanka in preparation for the multi-nation tournament. Both sides are coming into the series ahead of the Asia Cup off the back of wins over Bangladesh (Afghanistan won 2-1) and New Zealand (Pakistan won 4-1). This match was played back when Pakistan played their home matches in the UAE due to the refusal of teams travelling to Pakistan.
