Rohit Sharma & Co have jetted off to Trivandrum for their upcoming World Cup warm-up match against the Netherlands, which is scheduled for Tuesday, October 3rd at the Greenfield Stadium in Trivandrum. Unfortunately, both teams’ previous warm-up matches were affected by rain on Saturday.
The warm-up match between India and England had to be called off without a single ball being bowled. Similarly, the Netherlands’ warm-up match against Australia was also disrupted by rain during the second innings. On Sunday, the Indian team departed from Guwahati airport en route to Trivandrum.

During the initial warm-up match against England, Team India’s captain, Rohit Sharma, won the toss and opted to bat first. However, shortly after the toss, heavy rainfall began at Barsapara Stadium in Guwahati. The city was enveloped by dark clouds, and as a result, the match had to be abandoned.
Although their first warm-up match was washed-out, this upcoming IND vs NED warm-up match will act as a preview for the main tournament, where India is scheduled to start its campaign against Australia on October 8th.
