On the 15th anniversary of the horrific 26/11 Mumbai Terror Attacks, several cricketers, including legendary Sachin Tendulkar paid tribute to the people and security personnel who lost their lives in the attacks.
“26/11 will be remembered as one of the darkest days in the history of Mumbai and India. The people who lost their lives and loved ones in the attack will always be in our prayers. I have tremendous love and respect for everyone who fought in the darkest times to control the situation. However much we thank them, it will never be enough”, Tendulkar posted on X.
Apart from Master Blaster, Virender Sehwag, VVS Laxman, and Aakash Chopra also paid tributes on the 26/11 anniversary.

The 2008 Mumbai Terror Attacks claimed 166 innocent lives and injured many. The ghastly attack was executed by members of Lashkar-e-Taiba, a militant Islamist organization from Pakistan.

While the whole country were in standstill, England team took a brave decision to play a Test series after the Terror attacks in 2008. India won the Test by chasing 387 in Chennai. Sachin Tendulkar & Yuvraj Singh were the stars for India. After the win, Tendulkar had dedicated the win to the victims of the Mumbai Terror attack.
