Shakib al Hasan Dismissal
It was a role reversal, it was Mathews who got Shakib al Hasan. A late cutter from the veteran all-rounder saw Shakib playing a loose shot. Shakib comes close to the ball and gets a leading edge to get caught by Charith Asalanka at short extra cover.
In the end, it was Bangladesh who emerged victorious as they etched out a narrow 3 wicket win against Sri Lanka.

Angelo Matthews Dismissal
Angelo Mathews has been dismissed in a bizarre way! The veteran all-rounder was the next batter to take the field after Sadeera Samarawickrama was dismissed. But Mathews took a slow pace to make it to the crease. He also took a wrong helmet with him to the crease and then called on a substitute to get a replacement helmet.
But the Bangladesh players got tired of the wait. Shakib al Hasan appealed to the umpires who got engaged in a long conversation. A bewildered Mathews tried his best to reason with Shakib and the umpires to plead his case. Had Shakib withdrawn his appeal, Mathews would have got a life. But the Bangladesh skipper decided otherwise and Mathews had to walk back, thereby becoming the first-ever player in International cricket to be dismissed in time out.
