Mumbai Indians assembled a high-profile team for the inaugural season, a move that paid off as their star players led them to victory. And one of the prime targets could be Indian all-rounder Devika Vaidya.

While the squad looks settled, having an Indian all-rounder will go a long way. And that’s where Devika Vaidya comes in. Vaidya did not have a good season at UP Warriorz. But as she will look to bounce back, there is no better platform than MI. Exploring options like Mannat Kashyap or targeting Devika Vaidya could fortify Mumbai Indians’ batting lineup. Considering Mumbai’s relatively smaller purse, the team might strategically look for cost-effective but impactful players.
